February 23, 2018 - Proverbs 14:22, Psalm 36:1, Psalm 37:9

Today we will Concern ourselves with “The Paths of Righteousnessin the
Poetical Books. The Poetical portion is a smaller section of our bible, and consists
of five books;

Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon.

In Psalm 85:13 the NIV tell us that “Righteousness
goes before
Him and prepares the way for His steps”.

Likewise, Proverbs 8:20 portrays an image of Divine Wisdom
announcing, “I walk in the way of righteousness, in the midst
of the paths of justice”
.

John the Baptist, the cousin of Jesus, had the task of
preparing “The Way of Righteousness.
John was concerned with creating the Literal Path for God in the form of the
man-God Jesus. A way of righteousness which God
could walk, into his life, that of his community, and ultimately a WAY for the
World.
